Buone notizie: dal 5 gennaio riapre la tratta ferroviaria da Piazza al Serchio a Castelnuovo Garfagnana. Sarà così finalmente possibile andare a Lucca in treno da Aulla, dopo diversi anni di interruzione per lavori. Dall’8 gennaio inizieranno i corsi di nuoto per adulti presso la piscina Quercia di Aulla, già aperta dalle 10 alle 21! I corsi possono essere prenotati in piscina o tramite l’app Mooplan. Seguite la pagina Facebook della Piscina Aulla per i dettagli. Se non c’è neve, si può sempre andare al mare! Camminata ad anello domenica 7 gennaio a Lerici (partenza da Lerici alle 9, poi Falconara Baia Blu Santa Teresa – Info Running Station 3498489882). Ci saranno poi i festeggiamenti per la Befana in molti paesi della Lunigiana: Aulla, Villafranca, in Groppoli di Mulazzo, Arpiola e Tresana. E ancora, un concerto nella Chiesa di San Donato il 6 gennaio alle 17.30 e Concerto dell’Epifania con il Coro San Matio. A Sarzana, invece, in via Mazzini il 5 e 6 gennaio si terrà il Mercatino dell’artista con giochi, l’albero dei doni e animazione in attesa dell’arrivo della Befana, infine sempre il 6 gennaio in Piazza Luni dalle 15 arriva il Teatro dei Burattini. Per concludere, ad Aulla la Fortezza della Brunella sarà aperta al pubblico il 6 e 7 gennaio dalle 14 alle 16 (visite guidate ogni 45 minuti. Informazioni: www.sigeric.it).
For your information, I would like to remind you that Saturday 6 January is a national holiday in Italy forlEpiphany, so many offices and shops will be closed or with reduced opening hours.

And also there is some good news! from 5 January, the railway line from Piazza al Serchio to Castelnuovo Garfagnana reopens. It will thus finally be possible to go to Lucca by train from Aulla, after several years of interruption due to works.

In Sarzana in via Mazzini on 5 and 6 January Artist’s market with games, the gift tree and entertainment while awaiting the arrival of the Befana…and on 6 January in Piazza Luni the Puppet Theatre will arrive from 3pm.
